PROGRAMMERS – LEAD & ASSISTANT

Job Summary:
A Lead Programmer is responsible for maintaining the highest quality of programming on specific game development projects. As a team leader, he/she will have final authority within the team in reference to technical issues.

An Assistant Programmer are responsible for assisting Lead Programmers with the design and development of code, including the completion of smaller tasks.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: interacting with and reporting to the Producer regarding technical progress and programming team performance, creation of Technical Design Documents at commencement of project, suggesting improvements in aiding development, etc.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Fluent command of English language.
* Good ability to communicate regularily and clearly.
* Be reliable and capable of completing work.
* Troubleshooting abilities and/or the resourcefulness to obtain solutions.
* Architect, impement, debug, document and maintain code. Conduct code and design reviews.
* Constistently strive to maintain or exceed the highest quality standards.
* Ability to design and construct, or obtain if applicable and suitable, the game framework, building tools, engine, and clients.

Preferences:
* Avid gamer with a passion for creating top-notch games.
* Knowledge of AI programming is a benefit.
* Experience coding a MUD/MUSH or similar text-based online game.

Extra Notes:

There is currently no set programming language. If you are interested, please describe what languages you can code in, and also your level of expertise in it. The matter will be further discussed upon application. Preffered applicants will have a working understanding of any C derivative, and/or java.

ARTISTS –2D & 3D:

Job Summary:
Artists are responsible for the creation of still graphics to enhance the game play. These graphics will be any or a combination of futuristic, fantasy, and sci-fi themes. These are needed in several forms including:

2D
- Concept Art
- Web Art
- Character Portraits

3D
- Landscapes
- Character Models

A successful applicant will need to work with the Lead Artist and Game Designers in the creation of artworks for the game. The genre of artwork required is a combination of fantasy, futuristic and sci-fi. An example of the quality we seek can be found at:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Produce artwork as directed by Lead Artist/Produce/Designer.
Learn graphics tools and processes as required.
Provide creative input specific to assigned tasks.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
* Experienced and proficient in 3D artwork design, using Photoshop, Maya, Bryce3D or similar character/scenery programs.
* Excellent ability to conceptualize, present and execute ideas.
* Fluent in English.
* Ability to work as part as a team.
* Must be able to work dedicatedly and consitent in completing art.
* Avid passion for PC gaming is a plus.
