- MudWorld Email Accounts

Email accounts hosted by HNE have been fixed. If
during the last half of February you tried to email
staff at Mudworld without a response or it was
bounced, please try again. If you still continue to

- IMC2 Releases

Mud Domain has released an update to the IMC2 MUD-Net
client code, 4.40, which brings significant
advancements in security and configurabililty across
multiple codebases. Also released alongside this was
the MUD-Net 3.31 Hub which also takes advantage of the
increased security as well as ease of operation with
the return of remote administration functions.



Rogel has constructed a new IMC2 inter-network bridge
series called Cyclone. This is the first bridge to be
able to handle more than two IMC2 networks. It also
allows for networks to be connected with one bridge in
any configuration imaginable. It is also the first
publicly-released bridge. It has replaced all
current IMC2 bridges to date.

Coming soon all next generation IMC2 clients will be
licensed under LGPL. These are clients derived from
IMC2 3.10 Mud-Net client. This means that the code
will be able to be released as part of a code base
package. However, the server (bridge and router)
codes will remain GPL. If you have comments or

Due to both a typo and scheduling over E3 weekend,
this event's date has changed.

Saturday, May 8, 2004 at 7 p.m. ET, mark it on your
calendars. Meet & Greet IV will be in session at
. The MUDding & gaming
communities are invited for some unstructured
socializing and semi-clean fun all in text. If you
are a newbie to MUDding or gaming, you can ask
questions or if you seek a MUD to work on, play on or
even just chat, you have the potential to find your
next Internet hangout. Many of the communities'
administrators will be available for online
discussions; some may even be hiring.

a hybrid derived SMAUG called ResortMUD. It held up
the last time we used it and it will again!
