Although loosely based on history, Echoes of Albion attempts to surround players in an environment that tickles the senses. We want you to envision the captivating scenery of Britain as you explore the flora and fauna in our world. Get swept away in a trance as mystic creatures appear before you with their own demands to be met, or own desires to fulfill. We want you to sense the rush of battle as the Brythons attempt to send the Romans back across the sea. Feel the love that this tribe, the Caervitani, has for Ospen and her people.

As an RPI, this game is a wonderful middle ground between the mechanics of a MUD and the captivating storytelling of a MUSH. Don't be afraid to let the role-play take you in different directions! Characters have taken a completely different route than intended and players have been pleasantly surprised by the outcomes.

Some of the many game features:
-A Roleplay points system to award your characters for game play
-A level-less and class-less system which allows you to mold your characters skills as you see fit
-Both player- as well as staff-run plots
-A coded barter system in place of shops
-A crafting system (cooking, carpentry, pottery, etc.)
-A family of game guides, coders, and storytellers along with staff to help new as well as veteran players make the most out of EoA

Will you be a craftsman or a gatherer? Perhaps both? Warriors are prized in this society and treated with the utmost respect, but homemakers too are admired for keeping the family together while in turmoil. Everyone has a part to play in the realm within this Celtic village.

The year is 43 AD and Ospen is under siege by the Romans. Will they prevail in holding onto their precious land, or is this the start of the Roman invasion? Log in to find out and your character might just be the one to bend fate.
