Let me lay this program out for you so it's easily understood:
Multiuser RolePlay Entertainment (www.murpe.com || stormbringer.sysconn.com) is currently considering sponsorship program for active, but soon to be homeless MU*s. This is not a 'free game hosting account' or 'gimme' program. We require some work from our sponsored MU*s. Otherwise there's really no point in sponsoring them, right? Having said that, please read through the requirements before you submit your game application. We will not negotiate this in any way.
Currently we are interested in sponsoring MU*s in any game genre and/or codebase. In order to secure your sponsorship, you will need to qualify. In order to keep that sponsorship, you will need to maintain a certain level of activity with us. It is not important that we get banners, or links to your pages. We get plenty of that traffic as it is. We certainly wouldn't mind more, but that's not the goal. Traffic is nice, sales are nicer
In order to qualify, you will need to show us that you are a growing or well established MU*. We aren't interested in sponsoring a totally brand new MU* that can't pay for a server. That's not the drive behind sponsorship. Your MU* needs to have achievements that we can track (usually through your game's website traffic, game news or other history information). Again, this is not so we can boast about sponsoring you, it's simply done so that we might be able to justify the existence and history of your game and its web site.
Upon approval, you will have 60 days of a free game server account (64 MB Ram, 500 MB space, 5 TCP listening ports, 7% overhead cpu limit) and web space. Within that 60 days, the only requirement is that we get at least ONE order that is recommended by your game site. In other words: all you need to do is supply one paying customer every two months, and your server account and web space will be free for as long as you wish.
If you qualify, and are still interested in our sponsorship program, please send us some basic information about your game: name, genre, active imp(s)/god(s), codebase used, the number of active users it currents has, its current web page site (if any) and a brief explaination on what you will do through your game (or elsewhere) for helping the sponsorship program by attracting new, paying customers. Sponsorship E-Mail Address: email@example.com.
Someone from our hosting team will review your application. We will make a decision within 48 hours.
