Lusternia, Iron Realms' upcoming fourth text mud, entered closed beta testing yesterday. We invited about 100 people to participate in the closed beta, and as of this writing there are about 30 people wandering around testing. We're very excited!

Anyway, we're looking at a late September opening if everything goes well with the beta. The website will be at lusternia.com (there is just a "coming soon" graphic there now) and the game itself is at lusternia.com 23, though without a beta code it's not possible to enter the game right now.

We've released precious little information about Lusternia over the past year of its development but I can say this:
- Completely new world. We'll be opening with about 7000 unique rooms.
- Over 600 abilities, in skillsets ranging from Aquamancy to Nihilism to Hexes.
- A focus on planar travel. Different planes play a major role in many facets of life in Lusternia.

Look for its opening! We expect Lusternia to be immediately popular, and hope to exceed Imperian's opening day record of 174 simultaneous players.
