Three to four feet tall, with fair, blonde-to-silver hair and light eyes, you have been brought up to value the power of the mechanical almost as much as you value a day's labor. With steam-powered machines, your kind drilled out the tops of mountains and set up your cities, heated by steampipes and fueled by steam engines. You travel between your four mountaintop cities via goatskin airships, bartering and trading between yourselves like a well-oiled machine. You have managed to survive, even thrive, where others would perish. You are a Halaghi.

One of the 'outside' races of Chiaroscuro, the Halaghi are happy in their little socialist democracy in the clouds, feeling little need to explore the 'goat pen' below known as Fastheld. Perhaps someday, however, the desire for exploration will become too strong. As the magic-free wielders of steampunk technology, how will the Halaghi be treated by the xenophobic, medieval Fastheldians? Will the peaceful Halaghi have to learn the meaning of war? Only time will tell.

With this in mind, Chiaroscuro is now recruiting Halaghi. They have been relegated to the sphere of second or third alts for too long, and deserve their chance in the spotlight. That's where you come in. We need people who enjoy close-quarters, communal rp, those that enjoy expanding on a theme, and especially need those who enjoy a steampunk theme.
