Projects: OtherSpace: New Journeys, Chiaroscuro, Necromundus, MUWiki, FidoCon

Here are the latest OOC developments with our projects:

* Pay for Perks aspects of the games are being phased out. Instead, perks such as extra crafting minutes, fast mounts, purge protection, and personal property are acquired using RP Reward Points.

* RP Reward Points are accrued while characters are online and in-character.

* Players can convert their points into vouchers so they can accrue enough RP Reward Points to earn big-ticket items like starships and homes.

* Alts are no longer automatically available on OtherSpace and Chiaroscuro. Players must acquire Alt Vouchers with their RP Reward Points to earn the privilege of playing a new character.

* RP Reward Vouchers, worth 25,000 RP Reward Points, are now prizes awarded to the Top Roleplayer of the Month, as well as to players who write stories that are at least 2,000 words long and showcase their JTS game character.

* NPC Butlers have been added on Chiaroscuro. Available for RP Reward Points, butlers will take items crafted by their owners and put them up for sale - or make requests to buy items crafted by other players.

* Bahamut has completed a revamp of the Chiaroscuro website and overhauled the armor and weapons system in-game.

* A combat system revamp is underway on Necromundus as a result of our Beta testing work during the spring and summer.

* A new vehicle system is in development at Necromundus, which will allow players to drive cars, trucks, and motorcycles.

* The MUWiki has been updated with new categories.

Upcoming Changes:

* Necromundus will shift from RP Optional to RP Enforced in Spring 2007. The game will require a biography for a character to get on the grid. It will also feature story arcs to get the ball rolling from an RP standpoint.
