I only play one MUD. Whenever I try to play another MUD, I find it really confusing. I started playing my MUD (The Pattern's End) currently with the help of friends, and the people online. I learned and adapted to it. I also started playing a MUD, made by the same creator of The Pattern's End, and it was very similar. I just didn't have the time to get evolved in the RP and other stuff.

Your question is inconsistent with your post. "MUDs played?" is, in a more verbose form, "How many MUDs have you played?". In your post, however, you imply that you're really asking "How many MUDs do you play?". The two are quite different.

Which is it?

I spend the majority of my time on one mud, though I do play a couple others from time to time.  Though, in comparison, I'm not sure if you could call it "playing" the other muds...  Or maybe I should just call playing Feudal Realms an "obsession"...

I don't want to advertise, but I also want to count on my fingers, so I'll say first letters... F, J, S, B, err...yeah dude, guess that's it, and the S\B are kind of similar.

I have 30 on my list, but I only regularly enjoy 2½, though I like 3½!

I love to be confusing...

Hmm. I spend virtually all my time on FR, but I also play DartMUD from time to time... If find its realism in skills and crafts, etc., refreshing... but FR isn't as cold and difficult.

But, since I do not play Dartmud regularly, I picked "1 only" in my vote. FR is the only MUD I am active in.

Aww. Now that hurts. Really, we're warm and fuzzy.

Or at least Gashta is.

Sorry about the mix up. It's really, "How many MUDs do you play?"

Sure, the players are great, but the mud is "cold and difficult"...You can drown in a swimming pool, are there no lifeguards?!

I never actually specifically looked for dartmud till my good buddy Lavitz said it, but was the description always like that? It seems like an exact play off what we said, and I wasn't quoting it...someone just warned me not to go in the deep end because I could drown

Funny that as a mud owner, I actually play only one. Time is a very difficult thing to throw around, but I manage to do it somehow. I've played a few, and lately for some strange reason I log into three muds to read notes, all which totally blow the nuts of a goat loving rhino. Oh well.

So yah, I play just one, coincidentally the one I own. Strange.

Two at a time is about right - I play my first mud, and continue to try others, one at a time.

I have an unexplainable affection for my first mud.  However, I have an equally unexplainable desire to find "my ideal mud."  Am I a mutant human being, overwhelmed by my own inconsistency and destined to forever seek a non-existant mud?.  Or, am I a typical mudder?

Truly, emotion reigns over logic.

Take no prisoners,
Sancho
