I will warn you this is a long post. Lots to show and explain what makes this mud different from others.

LoC has an all original world built over the last 10 years. LoC is a Diku/Merc mud with tons of additions and advancements over the past 10 years.

LoC is a PK mud with tons of add-ons to keep you entertained if you do not find pk.

There are 9 normal races and 9 ascending races.
Human ascend into Angel
Dragonkin ascend into Dragon

There are 163 different types of spells.

There is a mining system where you can go and mine different types of ore and take to a forge and create your own eq.

There are 11 guilds in this mud:
Warrior, Healer, Thief, Rogue, Tinker, Ranger, Conjurer,
Mystic, Battlemaster, Necromancer, and Monk.

There are 8 remorts allowed upon gaining cretin levels and cretin amounts of warpoints.

There is an ascending system where once you reach 8 remorts and 1000 warpoints you can ascend into a more powerful race with higher racial limits and other bonuses like natural detect-invis and more.

There are Augments to help your character become more powerful.
Here is a list of what the augments do:

Body, Head, Leg, Arm, Foot-Plating:
These augments all protect your body from physical damage.

Body-Power:
Increases the weight you can carry.
Allows you to wield heavier weapons.
Increases your chance to parry/dodge/shield block.
Has a chance to increase your melee damage.
Increases your ability to groundfight.

Arm-Power:
Allows you to wield heavier weapons.
Increases your chance to parry/dodge/shield block.
Increases your chance to bash.
Has a chance to increase your melee damage.
Increases your ability to groundfight.

Hand-Power:
Increases your backstab damage.
Allows you to wield heavier weapons.
Increases your chance to parry/dodge/shield block.
Increases your chance to land tackles.
Has a chance to increase your melee damage.
Increases your ability to groundfight.

Leg-Power:
Increases the damage of kicks.
Increases the weight you can carry.

Foot-Power:
Increases the damage of kicks.
Increases the weight you can carry.

Hand-Speed:
Increases your backstab damage.
Increases your offensive bonus (hitroll).
Increases your chance to parry/dodge/shield block.
Increases your chance to land tackles.
Increases your ability to groundfight.

Leg-Speed:
Increases your offensive bonus (hitroll).
Increases your chance to land tackles.
Increases your chance to dodge.
Increases your chance to flee.
Decreases your moves loss while moving.
Decreases your chance to be bashed and tackled.

Foot-Speed:
Increases your offensive bonus (hitroll).
Increases your chance to land tackles.
Increases your chance to dodge.
Increases your chance to flee.
Decreases your moves loss while moving.
Decreases your chance to be bashed and tackled.

Mind-Power:
Increases the damage of offensive spells.
Increases the strength of mana shield.
Increases mana regeneration.
Lowers the chance for you to lose concentration on a spell.
Lowers slightly the casting time of spells.

Mind-Focus:
Increases the amount of healing spells.
Increases the strength of mana shield.
Increases mana regeneration.
Lowers the chance for you to lose concentration on a spell.
Lowers slightly the casting time of spells.

Face-Spike:
Increases your damage in a groundfight.
Adds a 1/6 chance to blind on a headbutt in groundfight.
Adds a very rare chance to land two blows in a groundfight.

Mana-Boost:
Adds 20 percent to your base mana.
Increases mana regeneration.
Channeling:
Increases your mana level, enabling you to cast higher spells.

Mental-Armor:
Increases your chance to save against a spell's effects.
Lowers duration of negative spell effects.
Lowers damage slightly of enemy spells.

Focus:
Increases the damage you can take and remain casting.
Increases the strength of mana shield.
Lowers the chance for you to lose concentration on a spell.
Lowers slightly the casting time of spells.

This is a very advanced mud has a lot to keep you interested and entertained. Why not come and give it a try. Players are here to help you out and an admin staff is here to help out everyone. We are also into advancing the mud more so bring your ideas and maybe they can be put into use.
