Ahoy thar, ye salty sealions!
Big changes are afoot (or asail?) on Karinth, as one major project nears completion - sailable ships are now in game, for personal or public use. Caravels, frigates and mighty galleons are undergoing construction at the shipyards of the lands, as the original seafaring tradition of Karinth takes another step forward. Purchase the rights to a new vessel, name and commission it, decide who gets to captain, then let the wind fill the sails and carry you onward over the waves.
Not all is good news for Portsmouth's denizens, though - with the increased activity and lucrative merchant shipping, a band of scurvy pirates from the infamous Manderria clan has been sighted regularly at Portsmouth Harbour, raiding warehouses and torching buildings. Raid frequency depends on the time of year, but once they are there, there's only one choice you can make: flee for the safety of the upper town like a cowardly dog, or meet steel with steel in a desperate battle to defend your home!
