*coughs* With all due respect, Valg's post didn't seem particularly interesting to me; just a simple analogy expanded into duck testicles and bottled water. Dunno about other people, but I got the idea before the second quote.

I can ramble just as much, it doesn't make something interesting. Unless of course you don't see past blatant intellectual self-promotion.

Pretty open mind you have there........ not.
Bitch, please.

There's a world of difference between

1) agreeing with someone sometimes, disagreeing sometimes, and having something interesting to say either way and

2)  trying blindly and desperately to **** the **** out of their leg regardless of the circumstances. It's creepy.

Seriously.  Did someone kidnap the real Threshold and give his userid/password to a three year old child?  It sure seems like it lately.  We need to mount some sort of elaborate rescue plan to get the real deal back.

Which is fine- not every post is going to appeal to every person. If it's not interesting to you, you'll glance it over and move on. No harm, no foul.

However, the post in question was on-topic and extended a point made by the original post (big company:commercial MUD::commercial MUD:'boutique' MUD). Hardly "trolling", especially when when the accusation comes from someone whose only contributions to the thread (and many others) were two-line flames.

Irony, thy name is "The_Disciple."

Actually, Molly somehow blew up a bland little statement (which admittably didn't contribute anything besides a bit of humor(?)) by Threshold into a hellish flamewar, which DOESN'T MAKE SENSE!!!1 This statement was an addendum to something the_logos said, which somehow Molly took to be an insult to the Holy Honor of Innovation, something which doubly DOESN'T MAKE SENSE!!!1, because logos was originally arguing for a step towards innovation and away from cookie-cutter market research. And I quote:

This = S.T.U.P.I.D. How could you make this conclusion from anything the_logos said (if only in this thread) if you actually read the article? Personally I applaud Threshold for defending the sanctity of not-being-stupid.

Never, in this thread, did he endorse the_logos in any way, at least not before you labeled him the loyal hound of the_logos. I'm too lazy to look if he did after that, but it DOESN'T MATTER. You started this flame war by calling him that. Don't cite other threads in which he supported the_logos, because that, my friend, would be OT and unwarranted; call him anything you want in those, I don't care, but no matter if he's a slave to his sweaty whip-wielding master the_logos, you had no business bringing it up here.

This flame war DOESN'T MAKE SENSE!!!1 I nearly got sucked into it. Stfu everyone, take a chill pill, and have a nice day.

Wow, that was fun.
