Cracker Jack Prize - Sad Disappointment - VIDEO!

One of our programmers brought some awesome snacks into the office today, including some very yummy Cracker Jacks. Turns out they still do prizes, but the prizes are a total disgrace. I felt like this deserved a video, so here you go:

Title: Cracker Jack Prize - Sad Disappointment

Video is safe for work. I don't think there is even profanity in it. But if not, there should have been.

Re: Cracker Jack Prize - Sad Disappointment - VIDEO!

3 more people in the office had Cracker Jacks and we got 2 more sucky pencil toppers and one weird piece of paper that when you fold turns a picture of a man into Abraham Lincoln.

Found this site that shows how cool Cracker Jack prizes USED to be:

Cracker Jack Collectibles - home

Absolutely sad!

It is.

I remember the Compass, and there were also Joke Books (thought you really had to try reading the small print) and Coloring Books (at least you got an 'A' for effort for tying to coloring)

Apparently, the company went safe when too many children tried putting the toys into their mouths--or assumed they did (like with lead gaming minitures) and decidied on 'non-choking' items.
