This is a discussion on "Anyone use LinkedIn?" in the Top Mud Sites Tavern of the Blue Hand forum :

Anyone here use LinkedIn? If so, let's link up. Linking really only has upsides. You can search for me on LinkedIn as "Matt Mihaly" or with my email: matt (-at-) ironrealms (-dot-) com. --matt...

It's a networking site but it's focused exclusively on professional networking. https://www.linkedin.com/

I'd say probably 80% of the professional developers and publishers I know are on it, so it's really useful for keeping track of what people are up to and a decent way of getting to know new people in the industry you might want to contact.

This really does seem to be a good way to build contacts and references. Thanks for letting us all know about it!
