It's a networking site but it's focused exclusively on professional networking. https://www.linkedin.com/
I'd say probably 80% of the professional developers and publishers I know are on it, so it's really useful for keeping track of what people are up to and a decent way of getting to know new people in the industry you might want to contact. --matt |
