I've finally made the switchover to the new forum software. Over the next few days I'll be working on it to give it a better look and add some new features.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like I'll be able to port over the members list and forum messages. As of late the old forum started deleting threads at random, and this is partially because the database is starting to corrupt. You'll have to sign up with a new account.

This new forum has TONS more new features, including searching posts, private messaging, reply notification, and lots more.

For archive purposes, you can view the old forum here.

If anyone else gets that SQL error or any others, please tell me. I can easily change the look of this forum (which I'm going to do), as I now have the ability to use skins.

And I'm planning on adding more post icons too, so no worries

Go to "Your Control Panel", then "Personal Info", then "Avatar Options". It's pretty self-explanatory from there =). You'll have to have a site to host the avatar image, though.

Anyways, gives me a nice idea to make a nice PHP page for you people to upload avatars for storage... I'll work on it tomorrow

It seems to be taking a little big longer to load than before, but in all honesty I think the new look is well worth it. The painful to look at blue has been replaced by a cooling black, and the quotes look pretty neat too =)

Gotta do something about the javascript errors... I had to disable displaying them so I could make a post

Tonight I'm going to replace this skin with a new one (don't worry, it looks the same), but it should have some things fixed, including the fact that not all the Post Icons are showing and the iB Code Buttons don't show either. I'm also going to add a checkbox under Post Options that will allow you to choose to be notified of any replies to your post.

As for speed, I'll keep an eye on that for the next few days and see if it's just a freak thing going on.

I think those are the Avatars mentioned in the poll in the other thread. Not positive though, just a guess.
