Don't worry, every one of the people I showed it to got a chuckle out of it.
But, some people's humor includes varying things... I, for one, love a good 'dirty joke.' You may find them lacking in taste or humor, and that is fine... but, this sort of catches that side of my sense of humor. I also quite enjoyed Beavis and Butthead as well as comedians such as Dennis Miller, George Carlin, Robin Williams, and others (those are in no particular order). *shrug* Taste is a many-fanged beast, and each person's has a different shape. Ah well, enjoy. |

Beavis and Butthead are the sort of juveniles that think saying "fart" is funny. We were all there once I'm sure, but do we have to pollute a board about muds with that kind of thing? Or could we at least get Synozeer to remove Tavern of the Blue Hand posts from the Recent Posts on the front page if the kind of post at the top of this thread is to be considered acceptable? --matt |

Tavern of the Blue Hand is about ANYTHING. I suggested, quite a while back, setting up a Chatterbox forum (like I did at MUD Planet) for non-MUD related material, but it was left this way. *shrug*
But, what it all breaks down to is that this was an attempt to spread some humor and put a smile on some people's faces. You may not like or appreciate that, and that is of course your option, however others may have enjoyed it. Most of what I see in this forum is, in some way, MUD related. When it isn't MUD related it is usually a humor post. If you don't want to read it, don't. Unlike other threads, where the point has been polluted, this thread HAD no point from the beginning aside from the attempt to spread some humor. Good day. |

The point here is that after noticing that it isn't MUD related, you've not only posted a response to it, but followed up on that response two more times. It's not MUD related... no one is disputing that.
You're complaining, now, about the fact that it's remaining on the front page... but you're keeping it there by continuing to respond. I have no issue with the topic, but you do and have stated your wish to not see it on the front page. Well, here is a suggestion. If you don't want to see the post on the front page, quit posting about it to help keep it there. Just a thought. |
