This is a discussion on "Websites MUDders Like" in the Top Mud Sites Tavern of the Blue Hand forum : Sidmouth mentioned something in the 'Enough' thread that made me curious. What website(s) do you as MUDders flock to? Mine are below. The point of this thread is to share sites that may be of interest to other MUDders... please don't post such things as search engines unless they provide other content besides just searching. Slashdot MUD Planet The MUD Connector MUD Ranger B.o.T.S. II And of course here. ----- Post edited to fix URLs.... |

There are only a few sites that I really visit on a regular basis...
The Rebel Alliance Network, a strange and stupidly semi-humorous site co-run by a friend of mine. Top Mud Sites Deviant Art, a pretty cool computer-art site. --Validus |

A few of my favorites:
http://www.kuro5hin.org: Incredibly high-quality discussion on a wide range of topics. http://www.fark.com: The best distraction on the planet. Even beats slashdot for timewasting at work. http://www.bluesnews.com: Blue has consistantly proven himself to be among the best gaming reporters. (oops, looks like the URL BB tag is broken. It's giving relative instead of absolute paths -- check your posts!) |

The only strictly mud related sites I visit are this one and mudconnector. A couple that have not yet been mentioned:
www.plastic.com (which I recommend highly if you read kuro5hin, as yui does) www.arstechnica.com (For technology/computer discussion) xalton.forum2000.org (humor) www.seanbaby.com (humor) And my favorite place to waste a few hours of every day: www.diaryland.com. If you read diaries at diaryland, blogspot, onlinejournal or whatever, pm me and tell me which ones, or if you're interested in knowing which ones I read, pm me. Always on the lookout for good tips |

I've pinned the topic for the time being. I plan on listing all the sites (aside from things like hotmail) on MUD Planet, for all to have acess to. So feel free to add sites you like.

That's what I plan on doing, soon. Just wanted to make sure I'd gotten the bulk of those sites.
Now I just need to get suggested categories for the listing. |
