seems hard... i dont want to pay for a host..are there any free ones? if not are the cheap ones any better then the expensive ones? how hard is it to code? build? could 2 people make a mud bythemselves?

I know that there are mud hosters out there that will host you for $25 a month. I don't know if that's cheap for you or not.

You should be very careful about where you host your mud, though. I had a friend telling me that his entire mud got stolen by the guy who was hosting him. The guy kept a backup of all his code and then later released it as his own game. Be careful!

One person can build a mud by him or herself, but it's a huge job. It's nice to have more people involved because you can share your ideas and build off each other. Two people can be a good thing. You don't have a lot of politics going on then.
