This forum would be a sadder place indeed without Milady Molly adding in her two (umm, fiddy, she's prolific) cents often.

Kavir appears to be correct when he says that Medievia was never banned from TMC.

I emailed the administrators asking them why MEDievia was back on TMC.

They replied that Medievia had exceeded its limit of 10 reviews that applies to all MUDs. But somehow [not clearly explained] that limit is lifted so Medievia reviews are being posted on TMC again.

However there are a few big BUTs to this expalnation:

1. I mentioned the DIKU issue in my email and got a strange reply from the admin of TMC that the issue was " a mess" and that he or she refued to discuss it any further. My email didn''t push the DIKu issue tat much. That was a very strange truncation of response and discussion .

2. TMC has not applied the same standard re reviews to other MUDs. For instance Tempus, where I build, still has player reviews refused. To my knowledge we have followed all the codebase licence. So why is Medievia being given privileges ahead of other MUDs???

Something about TMC's handling of Medievia smells very fishy to me.

After getting a nastygram from the TMC admin on reasons they wouldn't host my banners, I pretty much don't deal with them any longer.

The only time I post on TMC is for helping my current customers -- I reward my customers' referrals, giving them additional months free if someone signs up and uses their game site as the 'referring' site.

As for TMS, this place is nice and fast. Menus are easy to use, though there could be a few more options available, its an overall great site. Most of my customers have come from here rather than TMC anyways.

That's nice praise for TMS and I think I speak for Synozeer and the other moderators when I say thank you. The one thing you'll find here is active moderation on quite a few of the topics where TMC staff seem to be totally absent.

No sir, I meant her frequent "helpful" advice and sharing of expertise at building and managing a world.

I'm not a proponent of "flaming for the fun of it" like you are so I'll refrain from further comments about your ill-conceived and ill-timed comments prevalent here or on other threads.

Yeah. She was cooking and some grease must have dropped onto the eye. Wasn't there at the time, but she called me and told me. I was laughing and worried at the same time.

Yeah, I have the same problem when a guy on a forum uses a girl for his avatar. I always feel like I'm talking to a girl. How can they blame me if I mistake them for a girl? If somebody walked up to me and LOOKED EXACTLY LIKE A GIRL, I'd PROBABLY think it was a girl. Maybe it's because the avatar is your only visual representation on a forum. If you see the pictures I use for my personal photos in my profile, you'll probably think I'm Bigfoot, or like my old one: a homicidal hunk of cheese. Or an alien autopsy (that one's still in the works). It may even be just a normal alien, not getting dissected, and it may be in a few minutes or something.
