Ok, just wondering...
Do you listen to any music while MU*ing?
If you do, what kind AND do you listen to different music that fits what you want to do that gaming session?
Example..If I'm just in to make some levels and maybe some wealth, I'll usually listen to the Mortal Kombat Soundtrack or the Blade Soundtrack. If I'm in an Rp mood, maybe the Soundtrack to Bravehart, Enya or even (strangly) Slayer or Spineshank.
Anyone else listen to music per what they plan on doing in their MUD/MUSH/MUCK/MOO/MUX ?

Faster and harder stuff when leveling... on peaceful rp something like nothing else matters or unforgiven.. but only the Best Band is here when I MUD

Whenever I MUD, I find myself listening to either Type O Negative, Metallica, or Dream Theater. Lately, I've just been playing songs from Type O's "Bloody Kisses" and "October Rust" albums.

I guess Autumn is coming...=)

Depends on what I'm doing. If I just want to work or sit around and bs with people, I'll listen to anything from an old song called "Snoopy vs the Red Baron" to a song off the soundtrack of "Never Been Kissed" to anything by Pink.
If I want to go whomp all over some big mob with a party I'll listen to anything from Disturbed, Bush, Rob Zombie, etc. Whatever helps get my adrenaline going.

Soundtracks rock.
Braveheart, Gladiator, LOTR, Star Wars (Ep II has a nice soundtrack), Legend, Last of the Mohicans and The Matrix.

Otherwise I listen to so lots of random stuff. Live, Pink Floyd, Metallica, No Doubt, Enigma, a bunch of random 80's hair bands when the mood calls for it.

Oh! And the Reservoir Dogs soundtrack!!
Although you're bound to take pause whenever a certain song pops on.... best song put to an image ever!

I just listen to whatever I have downloaded on KaZaA. That's everything and anything besides boy bands, and girl singers.

I tend to listen to Dream Theater most often, and also Metallica and Tool. I usually have to turn it down whenever I get involved in a serious rp situation though, cause it can be kind of distracting trying to focus on both the music and what's going on in the game... I had a song I thought would be good for pk, though I've completely forgotten which. This just goes to show how long it's been since I've pk'ed someone... :)

Copious amounts of Trance and Dance music. Think of DJ Tiesto, Barthezzz, Score, etcetera. I mostly play trance while leveling because the music kind of keeps the adreneline flowing. Also works greately when I'm trying to learn myself how to code in C. But when I'm just playing around I more or less tend to use milder dance music like Gigi D'Agostino or CL&MT, which also works great with coding... Also, soundtracks of movies and games appear high on my list of favourites. (Like The Matrix, Gladiator, Braveheart, Final Fantasy VII/VIII and a few more) And lastly, when I'm in a more vile and evil mood I tend to play some Rammstein or Thyrfing.

Nothing beats L'Amour Toujours by Gigi D'Agostino though!

I generally don't listen to music while I rp, unless it's the LOTR soundtrack or something. It distracts me too much, and if it's something with lyrics it makes me want to start singing it, which is bad for rp. *laugh*

When I'm bashing/xping I tend to listen to jumpy music...like there's this dance band called E-Type that has all these bizarre and excessively cheerful songs. I downloaded one by accident a few years ago while I was looking for "Russians" by Sting, listened to it while I was bashin...and well, now I have a cd full of the stuff. Heh.

Usually I listen to the radio. Sometimes, if I'm in a big battle, I play a bit of Prodigy to get me hyped up. Likewise, if I'm jus chillin' n chattin', I put on Zero 7 to cool me down.
