ok, this is totally random, but i have been humming a certain song over and over all day, and i was wondering if you guys have that same problem. lol, this morning my dad left his CD on "repeat" when he left the house (he says it's for our parakeets, though i don't know why they'd want to listen to most of the crap he puts on....), and when i got up, the living room was full of the musical stylings of def leppard (not that i mind it at all, they're actually some of the best stuff he listens to...) and now i have the "pour some sugar on me" song stuck in my head. i love that song, but i can only remember some of the lyrics, so it's driving me nuts! not to mention that it sounds to me like the perfect song for stripping, so i'm strutting down the halls at school humming it......

This is the song that does not end.
Yes, it goes on and on my friend. Some people started singing it, not knowing what it was Now they'll continue singing it forever just because This is the song that does not end... Neranz Laverani, forever tormented by Lamb Chop |

I think the best thing to do when you have an ugly song in mind is to think of another song, the former song is deleted, and the latter will be gradually deleted, so for your sake think of a song that u like that way it would be less suffering.
just my 2cc Ruobhe p.s.: dont use the "it's a small world after all" |

Barney is the name for the generic Half-Life guard people, since one of them is named Barney, obviously all of them are named Barney. Why everyone gets so freaked out about the guy I haven't a clue...maybe because of his poor gunning skills...you're better off killing them and stealing the ammo than to have them follow you.

As for the song... there are hundreds. Right now it's between "Where were they going without ever knowing the way..." and "Everything, everything will just fine, everything, everything will be alright, alright..." ... though there are a few more, I'll leave it at that. |

I'm hearing Faye Wong's "Eyes On Me" in my head right now. You might be familiar with it as it is the theme song of Final Fantasy 8. I don't particularly mind though, cause it's a very nice song. And I get to think about Rinoa... *drool*.

I dont generally have this problem.
I am a huge huge fan of heavy metal, and I have boycotted the radio, because it NEVER plays anything I like, so I always listen to my Cds. And in this way, if I do get a song stuck in my head, its one that I like. Right now Ive been listening to Sepultura, and Im always headbanging in my car and at work to the tune from the song Desperate Cry. Does anyone heard of these ppl? |

My wife likes to play songs over and over and over. I tell her, "If you don't stop playing that song, I'll be able to add the insanity defense to my wife-beating charges."
But songs don't get stuck in my head unless I'm doing something that doesn't require much thought -- then I'm always humming/singing some song or another. |

Thank you, Grey! I was just about to say that I have Hooker With a Penis stuck in my head, and was prepared to good-naturedly explain that I'm not a pervert, but at least someone understands.
On worse days, when I'm JUST about to fall asleep, this little thread of song works its way into my mind: Na na na-na na, HEY!, na-na na-na na-na.. na na- na na, HEY!, na-na na-na... doob doob-doob doob, HEY!, doob doob-doob doob... (Note: people who didn't spend a few of their formative years being exposed to obscene amounts of hockey may need me to say that this is one of those awful songs that tend to get played in arenas a lot, ones that the drunken fans sway to, until they fall out of their seats and sway on the floor.) This could be why I'm an insomniac. |
