This is a discussion on "Looking for a ...." in the Top Mud Sites Tavern of the Blue Hand forum : Hi, I'm looking for a Mud, if anyone could help, it would be great. I'm looking for a Mud like I used to play. It was a castle one, you start by having dreams which in away tell you hints of what you could be good at. Also your mostly nothing but a servant, but you can raise up slowly to become something powerful. It was not a hack and slash game (nothing but killing MOBS) It was more into Roleplay. Also, I'm hoping its something with a few active people, No dead Muds please. I guess ... |

Sounds like Castle Marrach, one of the Skotos subscriber games. Could be wrong, though.

Damn. I have tried a game very similar to the one you're describing. It was back in '99 though so I don't know if it's still running. Even if it is, I can't recall the name of it. I didn't play very long as I just couldn't get into it. Maybe the name will come to me later.
