I really don't like the mud connector's forums, I think they're setup is sloppy and don't even know what type fo forums they are, but anyway, are there any other mud forums out there that people post at besides TMS and TMC? I think there's a couple but I'm looking for something that has a similar setup to ikonboard or php.

Hmm, I wasn't really talking about a muds own specific forums, but I already frequent the burnt world of zalanthas.

Well, I've got 4 on my favorites list, TMS, TMC, Mudmagic (Formerly Kyndig), and Mudlab. Of course, I keep the usenet groups on my favorites list jic a gem shows up. But it's all adverts these days. Other then that I don't know of any other generic mud disccsion forums.

Is it just me or does it seem odd to be discussing other mudforums, that might be competing with TMS on TMS' weforums?

MudDomain is run by Paradigm, someone who has remained fairly neutral in almost all issues related to MUDs. While he has his own opinions, he doesn't enforce an iron-grip moderation on other people's opinions.

Very little advertisement on his site, and it's just a very pure site for any MUD enthusiest. It really takes it back to how things were meant to be.

You can find a neato list of sites with forums if you go to sites like TMC and TMS and check out their affiliate links. Normally those affiliates have forums about.

And yes, promoting other discussions is advertising competition of TMS. This site does four things. It is a rank list, review post, article post and it is a discussion forum.

Promoting sites that do exactly the same things are direct competition. Promoting sites that may touch on one thing or two is indirect competition.

So let us review:
