This is a discussion on "The Photo Game!" in the Top Mud Sites Tavern of the Blue Hand forum : I thought it would be cool if I shall an interesting photo from somewhere in the world every day or two and in that time you can all sign on and give your guesses as to where it came from and/or explain the picture if you think you know something about it. The winner gets a big thumbs up and prestige! (Note: Don't go follow the link where I got this to find the answer and cheat, try to guess first and THEN look it up if you want ) And yes, these are all real photos I shall ... |

Its what they do in the McDonald's back room...no wait, I'm both copying someone else's answer, and talking about the wrong picture.
Um, its some sort of circus act in a European country. |

Ok, times up. It's the remains of an old gym or large bathroom. This is in hawaii and apparently are the remains of the bombings at pearl harbor. The jungle decided it was good a place as any to grow

In reference to number #2, that reminds me of a drawing I did while learning Arabic. The words for paratroopers actually meant parachute forces. The word for parachute also meant umbrella or parasol.
So I made a drawing "Parasol Forces" that featured a detailed Mary Poppinesque figure loaded with ammo belts and assorted weaponry. The background had little silouettes featuring the dress shape, the umbrella, and a weapon point filling the sky. I find the differences between languages interesting. (Either that or I can easily amuse myself.) Neranz Laverani, Seeker of Knowledge |

You got it again, DSer! I tried to make it harder by putting a photo of it when it was just getting started instead of how they look now (the trees are 'much' bigger) and this place is a theme park.
http://www.rd.com/common....nelId=6 Go to the slideshow, will show you some truly amazing trees he has grafted. |
