Well, I went to log on the other day, and granted, I'm not the most active player... it was my first mud, and to think that it is gone would drive me crazy.
Anyone know where Iluvatar disappeared to? Or, better yet, Phoenix? |

From what I heard, Iluvatar left Phoenix about half a year ago. The owners have been very inactive for quite some time, so I guess it closed down, which is a pity.
It was a great mud.  |

Not sure why you could not find the mud, but it's still up in 2010. PhoenixMUD is at phoenixmud.mine.nu, port 4000 !
