Hi there!I ve been wondering if RL love stories and strongs friendships sparkled via the connections of our favorites muds.I am asking cause I am wondering(this time at full meaning) about an "affinitys" coded mud, where one would mostly meet and see Chars related with his behaviour and psychological profile/score.I think that Muds are fantastics and colorfull chatrooms, and why not, could be as well precise and funny dating agencys. So I'd be glad to hear about experiences and anecdotes on that matter, and see if some passed through, and by,the ...

I met my fiance on a mud. However, I don't think that means that a mud can be made that will be a good "dating service." We were co-leaders of a clan, emailed back and forth and spoke extensively over clan business, and our relationship developed from there. However, I think that online love only happens when you're not looking for it. Our relationship was based on a shared hobby, that became an in character relationship, then a real friendship, and then love. I think if I went into the mud looking for love, things would have come out a lot differently. That could be just me of course.

I'm willing to agree to that. I've made some friends out of muds, but getting romance out of it would be iffy. I met my ex-husband through a mud. Never again -- obviously it didn't turn out so well. Online in general tends to encourage people to get serious too fast, and get involved before knowing all the facts about your prospective mate.

Good luck to you in your upcoming wedding and marriage.

Hi,sorry for delay...Well,if I spoke of "dating services",it was only as one of the many branches the mud would have, beside classicals RP,PK,Quests and not so commons Tournaments,Kingdoms buildings and Lyrical expression on his tree of enjoyment. It wouldn't be focused on matching desperates bachelors, but rather on creating a balanced and intimate gameplay (should be sooo important on the PK issue, and,as I like the concept,Soulmating as a fertile spring of scenarii).Think it's about it(am I late? ),Thanks for your answers and enjoy your adventures!

Ive seen plenty of romances in my mudding time. I remember a particular couple on my first mud who ended up moving in together - one of them moved from the United States to Australia.

Online relationships going RL isnt the norm but it certainly isnt that rare either.
