I really wanted to vote for more than one.

I wanted to say :
It's fun and highly addictive
Graphic games suck
I like killing textual based mobs
I like roleplaying with other people (or is that playing with other people's minds (*wink* seth.)

MUDding is a nice escape from reality... it lets you be someone you're not... I love it simply for the roleplay value, I could care less about killing textual based creatures... =P

Like it or not, graphical games such as EQ and UO are MUDS. Perhaps why do you play text-based MUDS would be abit better suited.

I play and code on MUDs because of the expression and customization my hands and voice can have on the place. It's quite amazing to be able to think it in your head one moment, and the next have it right there in front of you. of course, some idea are farther out there than some, but anything's possible if you set your mind to it.

What if you don't play MUDs and rather snipe people with a nice Mauser in RTCW, or drive over American soldiers in a Russian T80 tank in OFP?

I like lots of stuff in muds.Maybe its very cool cuz you always find something new to do..

heh,im gonna post one story about me :

I was kinda insane on weekend,so decided to stay all night in mud.After about 20 hours,it eventually became slightly boring..But I found what to do

I always wanted to see the Hell (its a location for punishing people

)So I created two chars,and illegally pkilled one of them with other one

Eventually , they both were sent to hell,and it was kinda very funny..heh,whaddya think,im making money from that now,selling password to one of the chars

Now,Can you do stuff like that anywhere else ?

I can do everything here.This is the answer for all of us,I think.
