Now that everyone has had a chance to explore the fourms, get to know it, make friends with it, do you like it? I didn't like it at first, but then I got to figure out everything and how it worked, etc. and now it's cool. Just wanted to do this poll to see how you people feel.

I'm still annoyed that I lost all my post #'s.. and unlike Seth I don't feel like spamming the board.

Otherwise I don't like the laggy redirect page that you get whenever you vote, and I don't like the confusing layout of the heirarchal links at the top. Plus it's difficult to navigate in general..

Simple = better..

I find myself getting lost. I forget which topic I tormented Seth in last.

I know I know, I am old enough to be his great great grandmother or something, but a Lady's gotta do what a Lady's gotta do.

Negatives:
I know it's kooky, that as a MUDer, I don't like black backgrounds, and this is very hard for me to read.

There seems to be more spam than ever before.

I miss the good info I used to find off the other boards.

Don't do any massive security upgrades to the server where the boards are hosted. We had AWW's forums with ikonboard and would loose *everything* when the server went through any sort of update.

Postives:
Maybe I'll actually get more than 67 posts this year. I don't intend to spam to get them, however.

I am familiar with ikonboard, so I find this easier to navigate with.

Graphics aren't as big, so for my lil' laptop and my cable modem, things load up just fine.

I can look forward to the spam subsiding*hope hope*, and the information and funnies to filter through, as I'm sure many of you had to do when the last boards had to do at their beginning.

I didn't like the black background either, it made my eyes water trying to read . I don't know if you know this or not but you can change the skin. It's found somewhere in Your Control Panel. The last time I checked, you only had one other option but I like it much better than the black.
