This is a discussion on "Anyone ever play wintermute?" in the Top Mud Sites Tavern of the Blue Hand forum : Hey I havent played muds in a long time and I wanted to start playing again, the only mud I ever really got into was Deminsions and wintermute(mute.aiko.org). I heard that wintermute got shut down for whatever reason, did they make a new mud or what?... |

Re: Anyone ever play wintermute?
Not sure what happened to them, but you will find a plethora of good muds here on TMS. Try a few out. If you enjoy good gaming try Iron Realms, they have several great games. If you like enforced and intense roleplay try NW or Threshold. If you pk and good combat try God Wars II. If you like science fiction and time travel try 4Dimensions.
There are numerous more to try. Good luck! |

As much as I'd love to direct you to my own home MUD, like so many here will, maybe you're looking for this: Home
If that's not it, I don't know what to tell you. There are plenty of good MUDs around here to try though, like he says. I prefer RetroMUD - It's not just a game anymore , myself, though I've messed around with Ashavar's Legacy (now abandoned), Discworld (entertaining universe, not as involving gameplay as retro, I think, but I love variety and character customization), and so forth, if any of those help you spot some other good choices. Good luck getting back into things! -Kereth |
