This is a discussion on "mud RSS planet site?" in the Top Mud Sites Tavern of the Blue Hand forum : I'm wondering if anyone knows of a mud planet RSS aggregator out there, basically a single page that aggregates feeds from sites such as Top Mud Sites. If there isn't one would anyone be interested in such a thing? I mainly use them for subjects I don't keep track of daily, but still want a convenient one-stop site for. It also would serve as an easy portal for a newcomer to muds to get a quick grasp of the breadth of the current news and topics in mudding.... |

Re: mud RSS planet site?
One of the members of our Operating Committee proposed doing that for the revamp of the site. We're actually discussing that Monday at our meeting. Of course, it would likely be confined to participating role-play MUDs, as per the focus of the site.

Re: mud RSS planet site?
Cool Violette, I just checked that out. I would say the main difference between the WGF feature and this idea is there's someone else (not you) doing the work of finding feeds, curating them, and so on.
This reminds me that WGfriends is looking really nice lately, if only I actually used social sites... Also in other news, work actually has commenced on this idea. Keep your eyes and ears open for a new mud RSS planet! |
