I've started up a new project called The MUDdy Hobo at The MUDdy Hobo - Text-Based Travels

Basically, it's merging my love of playing and building MUDs with my experience as a journalist.

The final shape of The MUDdy Hobo isn't there yet, but I'll be doing what the title suggests: Roaming from MUD to MUD, experiencing what they've got to offer, talking to the people who play them and create them, and sharing those stories with blog readers in a further effort to help all text-based games reach new audiences.

It won't have rankings or forums, but readers will be welcome to post responses to any entries there.

I hope you'll all stop by from time to time!
