Hmm, it has been some time since i looked around in the "mud community" due to other interests.

So, one of the things I did remember was Matt from IRE doing this MMORPG earth eternal with a huge load of financing ("Sparkplay secured $4.25 million in financing in early 2008"). I was impressed and have dropped by the game site from time to time to check how the game was going. Unfortunately my character seemed to be mostly alone, which was a pity.

Now that i couldn't reach the site i googled to see what was happening and came to this news post

That is sad. Hope that money wasn't wasted on nothing and that the game/work will be used by someone else.

I tried searching the forums for posts about it but couldn't find any. So I'm putting this up here for anyone else that might have missed it.

I enjoyed checking out the game from time to time, even though I did not really play it. I was sad to see this and hope Matt and the game crew good luck in the future! That which does not kill us makes us stronger!
