This is a discussion on "MUD events and online calendar." in the Top Mud Sites TMS Announcements and Feedback forum : Quite a few of the threads in the "Advertizing for Players" forum are about specific events upcoming in MUDs. Feel free to continue posting them there as it is good to have the search engines index them, but you might also want to consider adding your event to the event calendar. Just click on the "Calendar" link in the top navigation bar and add your event. Upcoming events show on the front page of the forums and if the calendar has enough content to make it valuable I will add an "Upcoming events" box ... |

MUD events and online calendar.
Quite a few of the threads in the "Advertizing for Players" forum are about specific events upcoming in MUDs. Feel free to continue posting them there as it is good to have the search engines index them, but you might also want to consider adding your event to the event calendar. Just click on the "Calendar" link in the top navigation bar and add your event.
Upcoming events show on the front page of the forums and if the calendar has enough content to make it valuable I will add an "Upcoming events" box to the TMS front page. We'd prefer not to see minor events such as "We will have double exp for 30 minutes on Friday", but real milestones for your MUD, festivals, MUD birthday celebrations etc are very welcome. |
