A fresh LPmud with influences from AD&D, RoleMaster and others. QuestMud includes many interesting and innovative features that make it different from other muds, such as the unique training and spell system. To learn skills, you are first taught the basics in a guild teaching it and then have to earn the experience to actually understand and use it. Players can also teach each other. Spells are cast by combining magic words, for example the mage spell 'light' is cast with words 'exs' for Essence, 'fla' for Fire and 'cre' for Create. Changing Fire to Ice creates darkness, changing Create to Bolt gives a 'fire bolt' spell. More than 100 skills and spells available, over 10 races and more than 20 different subguilds. Possibility to combine the guilds for dozens of character development possibilities, for example take first 30 levels fighter guilds and then 20 levels mage guilds to get some spells. QuestMud is evolving and growing in a slow but steady pace, as new areas and features come available. Our basic rule is 'Quality before quantity'. Welcome to Deleria, the world of QuestMud. |
