Grandma really needs to shave her legs...

Ann is absolutely correct! Two thumbs way, way up!

CERN, the inside of a particle collider?
In side a power plant?
Inside a building made entirely out of yellow LEGO© blocks!
Those are good guesses, but actually, it is the tunnel leading to the Lost Sea in Tennessee. It is a very, very large lake underground where there are boat tours with glass bottoms to see the eyeless catfish that swim there. This tunnel is like a quarter mile long to get there, but worth the walk.

It's where they accidentally spread Miracle-Grow instead of some bug killer. It seems forest-like so maybe it's South America? (Botanyphilia..? A crysanthemum hooker maybe?)
Err, ok.... I don't quite think anyone got it?
It is a south american parasitic flower however, called a Rafflesia. Its the biggest flower in the world and can grow up to six feet wide. Says it smells like a mixture between a trash dump and rotten meat. |
looks like a modern art museum, really weird modern art museum
I see a shilloette of a generic-alien figure back there...
But this is too hard, do something else. |
A new art peace in D.C. ?
Maybe it's a museum in California after a minor earthquake. The light pole seems crooked, along with everything else. Or it could just be a Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum.
The page with the explanations seems to have disapeared... but I do remember it was some structure in a Hungary Structures Expo. Was just... a wierd structure someone made. *shrugs*
Prisoners will first be stoned, then decapitated...Or was that the other way around? No matter!
Those are the Inca effigies, aren't they?
Kas. |
Ingham got it in one!
This is one of those lemming things; one person goes and sits down in front of a wall forever, so everyone else does it too.
The one remaining wall of the old temple in Jerusalem, a religious site to both Jews and Muslims. I believe there is some legend about it involving tiny scrolls to be left in the cracks of the wall, but I dunno the exact details anymore.
Yup, also known as the Wailing Wall.
It's a shoe farm, obviously.
shoe tree?
really ant got a clue! *winces after glancing at the pic many many times* |
A screenshot from the movie "A few good men" starrying Dustin Hoffman and Robert DeNiro, where they are manufacturing a false war against Albania and fabricate a soldier remaining behind the enemy lines, nicknamed "old shoe" - people start throwing their old shoes over trees and lamp posts as a tribute to the "hero".
Probably not the real answer, but it is really similar. |
You read too much Xanth, like me. That's a shoe tree. Now stop making silly puns.
Actually, it is called The Shoe Tree. Apparently it got started because a couple after they got married through their shoes up there. And then their children, etc. Well, after awhile it became well known so people from all over started tossing them up there. A half dozen other trees can be found around the country.

That's not very wacky, interesting, strange or weird.
But I'll beat the system, that's a one of those corners of a castle, but they forgot to build the rest. |
Sentry tower set away from a castle to warn the monarch of approaching enemies. (Like the one the Wart [Rhymes with art.] finds in the book The Sword and the Stone by [Can't remember initials... TH maybe?] White.)
Actually it, thought it doesn't look it, is very interesting. This is the for real castle of Count Vlad Dracula in Transylvania. Flocks of large bats live in the eeves even.
Steph Mineart's vision of King Kong?
They should just shut down right now. |
It is, of course, a float (Not like the drink.) for a company that is trying to rival Legos called Cylindros (It's main building is in California). It's a giant replica of one of their favorite new additions to the line of Zoo-Animals. (Not to be mistaken for the spider-monkey found in their Domestic-Animals line.)

Someones about to get stabbed with many spikes in a painful fashion...Oh, wait, that's just a metal figurine.
So, it's a waste of time and money. It's something Bill Gates hired a bunch of people to build up as a monument celebrating his backyard. |
OH MY GOD!!!
ITS OPTIMUS PRIME!!! Transformers! Robots in the sky! *dumdumdum* |
I always thought it was 'robots in disguise'...
As far as I can make out it is a place where wackos, nutcases and those of alternative hairstyles go... its kinda bizarre.
Here is the link to some info about it: |
Another waste of time and money. All the coal miners have to walk sideways in the cave.
