Now even Shao Long half claimed he would drop it, but he can't leave without a fight.

Just as he can't drop his two or three personas when he's caught in a lie.

Just for reference, Shao Long said he was posting from Lithuania, while Kvirk was in Russia. And then, we had this "hey I don't know who uses my computer". There's a logical disconnect here.

Shao Long, I don't owe you an apology. As long as you quit the spam for good, I don't need one from you either. But, seeing that you stand alone now and that this is no more than a silly argument for trying to mend bruised egos, I suggest you simply leave it at that, post normally and keep an overall lower profile. Nobody's gonna "harass" you without cause.

As I have said thrice now, this isn't a popularity contest, and for my part, I don't ask you leave, only that you change your attitude.

Nemesis, I suggest you read some of the other posts made by at least one of these people. They're going around slagging off (read libel and slander) MUDs and imms, habitually, in particular RoD from which that person got banned. I dislike libel and slander, every other responsible person should too.

Do you not understand that? It's simple. You have had a large, large part of the community flaming you all. I want you to admit what you did, apologize for it, and promise not to do it again to the community that you spammed. How hard is it for you to understand?

I also rely on the "latest topics" section on the front page to apprise me of topics I might want to read.

Spammers ruin this completely.

I seriously think Synozeer should just wipe their post totals and tell them that if they continue to spam, they will be banned.

They are clearly "star farming", so if you take that away, problem solved.

I'd agree with Threshold, both about the method of action recommended, and the importance of the "front page" list of new topics.  I often would like to quickly browse the forums for ideas, and not read tripe or Dulan's war on tripe.
