If a cat always lands on all four feet, what happens if you tie its legs together?

Wouldn't that give them one large foot with four toes, technically?

But do the toes make a difference? What if you untied its feet, but cut a toe off each foot? Would it still land on all four feet?

If toast always lands butter-side up and cats always land feet-first, wouldn't strapping toast to a cat, butter-side down, mess up the logic of the world?
