How about if I asked the cat's consent first and, by some miracle, it allowed me to cut off its toes?

Did you know it's actually called the RSPCA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals)?

Rytorth 01-30-2003 05:33 PM

Do you think the cat would let you? And would you believe me if I said that I thought it was the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty against Animals?

Santrilla 01-30-2003 05:35 PM

Maybe it's different over in the US?

Oh, and you know how toast always lands buttered side up? If you strapped some toast to a cat's belly, what would happen?

Rytorth 01-30-2003 05:41 PM

And maybe I just had it wrong?

Valarauko 02-06-2003 02:44 PM

Will you get the cats consent before you strap the toast to the cat's belly?

Santrilla 02-06-2003 03:59 PM

Well, there wouldn't be much point in asking consent AFTER i'd strapped on the toast, would there?

Rytorth 02-06-2003 05:08 PM

If toast always lands butter-side up and cats always land feet-first, wouldn't strapping toast to a cat, butter-side down, mess up the logic of the world?

Ruobhe 02-07-2003 01:49 PM

if the logic of the world could be broken by the cat falling feet-first or toast falling butter-side up. what would happen if they fall sideways?

Rytorth 02-07-2003 05:08 PM

Maybe the logic of the world would just shatter?

Could the cat reach toast that's strapped to it's belly? Would it want toast that's been strapped to it's belly?

Santrilla 02-09-2003 07:26 AM

Surely if cats can lick themselves... downstairs, they can reach a piece of toast?

Does anyone know HOW MUCH Ammonia stings when you put it on an insect bite?

Rytorth 02-09-2003 05:15 PM

No - how much does it sting?

Ruobhe 02-09-2003 05:38 PM

Why do mosquitoes sting in the worst places possible, like the middle membrane in your fingers, os the base of you feet?

Rytorth 02-10-2003 09:28 PM

Maybe because they are evil and should be wiped out - but can't be, since it'd mess up the ecosystem?

Santrilla 02-12-2003 12:57 PM

Can't we use selective breeding to create a race of mosquitoes that feed off plant proteins rather than blood, thus removing the bloodsucking horror while protecting the ecosystem?

Ruobhe 02-12-2003 02:01 PM

would greenpeace accept the breeding and creation of a new species?

Enzo 02-12-2003 06:36 PM

What kinda species?

Rytorth 02-12-2003 08:27 PM

The kind of species that doesn't suck out our blood, maybe?

Enzo 02-12-2003 09:52 PM

What if I liked those kind? Aren't blood-sucking ones cool?
