The ultimate evil is loose Lusternia! This event is so intense and exciting that I thought I'd post a log of what happened. This is yet another sample of some roleplay you might expect to see in Lusternia!



Viravain, the Lady of the Summer Song says, "Many expressed concern that I
myself would be harmed by the remaking of what is tainted. Thus, I went to
Estarra and asked if harm may come of it. She told me that, though she did not
care herself if the forest was tainted or not, she looked at what I was doing
and decreed it posed no threat to myself or others."

Viravain's mouth turns up as Her face breaks into a smile.

Viravain, the Lady of the Summer Song says, "Estarra, the wise and eternal
fountainhead of our existence, said that if I were to remake all of Gloriana,
she foresaw that the Great Ravenwood Tree would return again. That Crow and
Mother Night would lose the taint within them in sympathy. That Gloriana would
be restored as it once was!"

The corners of Viravain's mouth turn up as She grins mischievously.

Viravain, the Lady of the Summer Song says, "My friends, you've seen how much
it takes to remake even a small portion of Gloriana. How could I, the smallest
of the Seventh Circle, do such a task? How long would it take to remake every
room of Gloriana? Yes, I despaired and was afraid I could not do such a thing."

Viravain blushes furiously.

Viravain, the Lady of the Summer Song says, "But then help came in an
unexpected place. Raezon, who I had thought would not even notice little me,
took pity upon me. He used the great knowledge that only one of the Fifth
Circle possesses to work out a way for me to restore Gloriana directly, thus
not needing to follow the guidelines envisioned by Estarra of remaking each and
every room before attempting to restore the Great Ravenwood. Raezon found a
source of great natural power. Together, we retrieved this pure power and now I
shall reveal it to you."

Lisaera creases Her brow in a frown.

Viravain opens Her hands and the Seal of Nature rises in the air and begins to
spin, casting a clean green light upon the surroundings.

Viravain's mouth turns up as Her face breaks into a smile.

rely on my meager skills to reclaim Gloriana! There is enough purity and energy
here to create the Great Ravenwood Tree anew and from its nexus of power will
Gloriana be remade!"

Viravain beams broadly.

With the Seal of Nature spinning overhead, Viravain places Her hands on the
blasted trunk of the Great Ravenwood Tree. She bows Her head and begins to
softly sing.

Viravain, the Lady of the Summer Song sings something unintelligible.

The Seal of Nature spins faster and the ghostly outline of the Great Ravenwood
Tree rises up from its shattered trunk. Glorious leaves unfurl, glistening
feathered fronds of a deep rich green. Violets spring up from its base and
tremble in anticipation.

Viravain, the Lady of the Summer Song sings something unintelligible.

Lisaera, the Ethereal Maiden continues to frown but watches in silence.

Viravain smiles softly at it and waves her hand, transforming it into giant
ladybug.

A giant wasp flies in and circles around Viravain's head.

Viravain blows a kiss and it transform into a giant bumblebee.

A vampire bat swoops down from the sky and lands on Viravain's shoulder.

Viravain giggles and tickles it, and it transforms into a bluebird.

A black widow spiders crawls in and up Viravain's leg.

Murmuring, Viravain pets the black widow and transforms into a golden gossamer
spider.

The Seal of Nature spins faster and faster, pulsating with fiery purity.

Three giants wasp fly in and circle around Viravain's head.

Viravain blows a kiss and two transform into giant bumblebees.

Five vampire bats swoop down from the sky and land on Viravain's shoulder.

Lisaera's eyes widen in horror and She takes up Her quarterstaff.

You see Lisaera, the Ethereal Maiden shout, "Estarra! Come to Me!"

Viravain tickles two bats, and they transforms into bluebirds.

A giant wasp stings Viravain's arm, causing her skin to bruise a bluish-black.
Clucking, Viravain heals her wound and transforms the wasp into a giant
bumblebee.

Estarra's voice shatters the cosmic equilibrium, "What's going on here."

Ten black widow spiders crawl in and up Viravain's leg.

A squirrel skitters through the treetops somewhere above.

With gentle touches, Viravain transforms three of the black widows into golden
gossamer spiders.

The remaining bats sink their teeth into Viravain's neck, but she quickly heals
the gory wounds and transforms them into bluebirds.

The seven black widows on Viravain's legs stab their venomous stingers into her
flesh, causing blue spidery veins to blossom against her skin. She quickly
heals her wounds and transforms them into gossamer spiders.

You see Lisaera, the Ethereal Maiden shout, "Come, something is wrong!"

Becoming incandescent, the spinning of the Seal of Nature lights up the sky
with its emerald brilliance.

Estarra's voice shatters the cosmic equilibrium, "Viravain, stop! STOP!"

Six carrion beetles scuttle in and Viravain transforms three into giant
ladybugs.

A swarm of giant wasps fly overhead and Viravain transforms nearly half into
giant bumblebees.

Viravain, the Lady of the Summer Song exclaims, "My children, slow down!"

The sky blackens with vampire bats, and Viravain transforms dozens into
bluebirds.

Countless black widows crawl in and begin climbing up Virvain's legs in a black
and red carpet. She transforms many into gossamer spiders but still they crawl
on.

The light dims from the Seal of Nature yet it continues to spin until it is but
a blur.

Carrion beetles, giant wasps, vampire bats, and black widow spiders swarm over
Viravain, who staggers back, bitten countless times.

The air around Lisaera glows argent, the aura flowing to surround the mortals
near Her.

Viravain, the Lady of the Summer Song screams, "TOO FAST! TOO FAST! TOO FAST!"

The Seal of Nature shatters into fragments and a column of pitch black fire
envelops Viravain, blotting her from sight.

A swirling pool of energy forms in the air, out of which steps Estarra, the
Eternal.

Estarra, the Eternal says, "Bloody ****e! Did a Seal just break?"

Lisaera, the Ethereal Maiden says, "By Yudhe..."

The forest begins to glow with a nauseating black light.

Estarra, the Eternal says, "Where is Viravain? What happened?"

Viravain suddenly appears overhead, covered in black widow spiders and
suspended in a seething column of fire. She thrashes her head from side to
side, her honey blonde hair leeching of colour until it hangs like white
tendrils. Her eyes become globes of churning black energy, and her skin is
covered in a network of spidery blue veins. She moves woodenly, her arms and
legs jerking and her head cocking from side to side as though she is a
marionette with strings being yanked by a cruel master.

High Apostle Kalas Stagar, Dragon of the Light intones, "Alright, this is far
enough Lord Raezon, you won, stop it."

Estarra floats up into the heavens, her eyes white orbs of furious light.
Surrounded by a nimbus of glowing energy, she begins a slow circle around
Viravain.

Estarra's voice shatters the cosmic equilibrium, "So, Kethuru, you finally have
found a channel to work through."

Your ears bleed as Viravain's voice invades reality, "YES, A MUCH BETTER VESSEL
THAN THE PITIFUL CREATURES I HAD TO WORK THROUGH BEFORE, YOU SNIVELING BITCH.
IT IS MORE THAN SUFFICIENT TO DEVOUR CREATION! AND WITH A SEAL THAT HELD ME
BROKEN, SO TOO IS AVECHNA CRIPPLED."

Viravain's cruel laughter reverberates through the air in waves of foulness.

Estarra's voice shatters the cosmic equilibrium, "Eight seals are still intact,
Kethuru! Your power is only at a fraction of its strength! And you have never
met me before!"

A beam of multicoloured energy streams out from Estarra's hand and slams into
Viravain, who tumbles head over heels through the sky, leaving a wake of
twisting energy.

The essence of creation begins to shake and fragment. You scream as every fiber
of your being starts to unravel.

Viravain surrounds herself in a globe of pitch black and charges at Estarra.
The collision sends bright flashes of power scattering across the sky.

You give yourself wholly unto the Light, and feel a divine presence fill you
from brow to feet. As you are lifted off the ground, you turn slowly in utter
ecstasy as the presence of the Supernals fill you with power and joy.

Erion has been slain by the might of Marsu Aurendil.
You see the death occur at before the Great Ravenwood Tree.

Estarra plunges her fists into Viravain's torso, while tentacles suddenly leap
out of Viravain's body and wrap around Estarra, sending both plunging to the
ground.

Viravain screams in agony, as Estarra hurls her into the sky, having nearly
ripped in half.

Stringy tendrils slide out of Viravain's mutilated body, pulling itself back
together, but Estarra sends bolts of multicoloured energy slamming into her,.

As Viravain roars in pain and anger, the sky shudders and wavers.

CAN SEND ME BACK TO MY PRISON! AND PERHAPS YOU DO HAVE ENOUGH POWER TO DESTROY
ME! GO AHEAD AND DO IT, YOU FOUL BITCH GODDESS! BUT DESTROY ME AND YOU DESTROY
ALL OF CREATION! LET ME LIVE AND I'LL EVENTUALLY BREAK THE REST OF THE SEALS
AND DESTROY CREATION MYSELF! ONE WAY OR THE OTHER I SHALL WIN!"

Visaeris shouts, "Well, nothing left to say but.. I told ya so Serenwilde."

Estarra's voice shatters the cosmic equilibrium, "Mortals! Find the pieces of
the Seal of Nature! It must be restored!"

Viravain's cruel laughter reverberates through the air in waves of foulness.

Your ears bleed as Viravain's voice invades reality, "DO YOU MEAN THESE?"

Viravain opens her hands and reveals 12 broken pieces of the Seal of Nature.
With a malevolent grin, she opens her mouth and swallows them all.

Estarra's voice shatters the cosmic equilibrium, "Noooo!"

Squire Feros, of the Armies of Light shouts, "Ok this was perhaps not the most
pleasant thing to enter the Basin to."

Viravain's cruel laughter reverberates through the air in waves of foulness.

Estarra's voice shatters the cosmic equilibrium, "We will find a way to stop
you, Kethuru! Do not claim victory so soon! Elder Gods to Me!"

Your ears bleed as Viravain's voice invades reality, "AH, ELDER GODS! THAT
REMINDS ME THAT I AM HUNGRY. I HAVEN'T EATEN IN ETERNITY.... PERHAPS SOME OF
THESE MORTALS WILL PARTIALLY SLAKE MY APPETITE...."


NOTE: At this point much death and destruction ensued. The event is currently in progress with players desperately trying to figure out how to recover the broken seal.
