Today, on April 14th 2006, BatMUD is celebrating its 16th anniversary -- no small feat for a MUD. Over the years, the game has been constantly developed, making it one of the biggest and most feature-rich games on the Internet.

Batmud wasn't quite my first MUD, but it was my first serious MUD. Without Batmud, I seriously doubt I'd be doing what I do for a living now. Many good memories of Batmud and really f*cking crazy Finns.
