The priests in Everlund, in the land of Midnight Sun, have read disturbing signs in the sky
that at the time of the next full moon the undead will rise from their dark hidden homes
and flood the realms of the Neversetting Sun ravaging everything in their path.

All brave adventurers have been called to arms to stop the influx of the undead before they
manage to get a foothold in the realms and forever taint the living with their curse.

The full moon has started to wane once again in the Lands of the Midnight Sun,
and it seems that the undead scourge that has plagued the lands for the past days
has abated largely due to the efforts of Rangifer the acrobatic Brother of the Order of Hope
and Rev the athletic Expert True Blademaster, among others.

Much rejoicing is going on as people are once again beginning to feel safe
and go back to their day to day business.

But the gods are are uneasy. For they know, that despite all the efforts,
the undead have managed to create a number of strongholds throughout the lands.
And now they are waiting and attempting to lure mortals into their world
with the promise of power.

So it has come to pass. Been offered unholy powers , the first living person
has decided to follow the lure of immortality and has forfeited his soul.

Out of the darkness of eons past, the bloodline that was lost, has been
revived and the undead scourge has returned to once again walk in the world of men,
devouring the very essence of humanity.

OOC : This last event concludes a 2 week story arc in the world of
where the ancient bloodline of the Wamphyri has been restored.
Players can decide to join the bloodline, forsaking every inch of their humanity, in search
of greater power and glory. Even though it is a difficult path to follow and bears
little resemblance to what you would expect from a 'vampire guild', it does offer a deep
and rewarding atmosphere to immerse yourself into.
