tormented is on a distinguished road
MultiUser RolePlay Entertainment (MURPE) is all about building the best online roleplay game worlds utilizing one of the most comprehensive game engines ever designed. Relying on the aspects of allowing our customers to actually enjoy the gameworlds while keeping up on the overall server performance, we are in fact designing our own real-time, immersive engine and library system... named .

Game World Introduction: Tormented Soul RPG
Tormented Soul (TS) is a self-driven, dark fantasy and horror themed role-playing game geared to allow players the freedom of expression, while still providing a dynamic gaming environmental world. Rather than just being another persistant game world, TS' environment changes constantly... wars break out between rival clan factions, towns fall under siege, the costs of wine and other merchandise change day to day (depending on market conditions). Ritualistic player killing and corpse stealing is allowed! More information into our game can be found @ .

Java Programmers
To help with the on-going development and support of a Java-based Game Engine, we are seeking those that are highly experienced under Java, especially for dynamic structured development. We are highly interested in those network and library programmers that have utilized Java in a multiuser gaming environment. Experience in XML parsing, MySQL Connector-J implementation and/or E-commerce is considered a plus. Experience with distributed client/server applications (i.e. JXTA) is considered a huge plus!

College Students: We are looking into the means of partnering with several 2/Year and 4/Year colleges to help provide college credit in return for an internship into our development and marketing program. If you would like us to contact your school, please contact us so we can get the specifics from you and your school offerings.

Interested parties are requested to visit our corporate website, where more position information and basic requirements can be found @  .

Resumes should be sent in either ASCII or Adobe PDF format to 'apply' for any of the above positions.

Thanks for reading and stopping by!
