This notice is for current and former players of LegendMUD
We will be implementing a five(5) year limit on archived characters
starting in April of 2007. This limit is being put into place due to the
large number of characters archived, and the fact that these names
can be reused by current, active members of the LegendMUD community.
This is not to say that should a previous player return to Legend, and
want to play their character again, they would not be able to get that
character back. However, if the name would have been taken over
by a new character, a name change would be in order for the older
one. We will retain all of these playerfiles for this purpose.
If you have characters in the archives that have been there for 5
years or more and don't want to risk them being moved into a
purged directory, you will need to unarchive them, and log them
in at least once before April '07.
