I'd recommend Godwars2. The game seems to be built for PvP, and the code is very innovative. It's a bit of a leap if you're used to ordinary Diku or ROM muds, but if you can get used to it then I think it's a very good PK mud. I personally found it too big a mouthful since I was only looking for a part-time mud on the side for when I'm taking a short break from my main mud, but if I had been searching for a PK mud to play full-time then I would have taken the time to get used to its interesting but, admittedly, somewhat unusual code.
