As much as I'd love to direct you to my own home MUD, like so many here will, maybe you're looking for this:

If that's not it, I don't know what to tell you. There are plenty of good MUDs around here to try though, like he says. I prefer , myself, though I've messed around with Ashavar's Legacy (now abandoned), Discworld (entertaining universe, not as involving gameplay as retro, I think, but I love variety and character customization), and so forth, if any of those help you spot some other good choices.
