Not mentioned in this topic: the sheer amount of time spent farming that is required to get into a secondary guild like Confessor. Unless you get a good party to rush you through the game.

I'm pretty sure that the Confessor guild also requires you to farm good-aligned monsters until you reach the most evil alignment, so if you're a paladin, be prepared to waste a ton of your class' shield improvement points (called "Honor").
