Simple but healthful quick-eats for gaming:
Oatmeal Cookie Oatmeal:
1/3 cup quick oats in a cereal bowl. (Not instant - quick oats are normal oats that have been milled a little finer than usual and therefore will coagulate quicker when cooked)
2/3 cup water plus 1 more tablespoon of water in the bowl.
Nuke for 60 seconds, regular power.
Remove bowl - add 1 tablespoon butter, stir well, nuke again for up to 30 seconds, or when it looks like it's just about to start erupting like a volcano - whichever is first.
Remove bowl - add 1 firmly-pressed tablespoon of dark brown sugar, and 1 palmful of raisins. Sprinkle around 1/4 teaspoon powdered cinnamon in - mix it all up. Do not add milk.
Eat while hot.
