Star Trek: Alternate Worlds is a really cool MUSH based around Deep Space Nine.
Star Trek fan, or not, if you're into Role Playing, I highly recommend you come and have a look. The players and staff alike are really friendly and helpful. Players can choose to play a character from a selection of races, and may join one of five empires. To start IC game play, we need about another 20 players (to add to a pbase of about 40 players already (about 6-10 online on average that I've seen so far).
