![]() Just wondering, since Mafia Life was removed because it was a browser based game (as in it didnt use telnet) what about the new game on the Newly added Mud List, GWing Freeform? It is also a browser based game.
It even says in it's description: Description GWing.net provides freeform MUD play, specifically focusing on roleplay. No client needed other than your browser. Yeah, they say they are a mud, but they are a browser game like Mafia Life. |

Mafia Life wasn't removed because it's a browser-based game. The choice of client or communication protocol is irrelevant as to whether something is a MUD or not. It was removed because it had no representation of real-time space, which is pretty fundamental to MUD-dom, whether you're talking about the humblest DIKU or World of Warcraft. It also wasn't a site about MUDs, so there just wasn't much reason for it to be listed here.
I'll try to check out GWing later today. --matt |

Checked it out. Certainly doesn't seem to be a MUD. It's horrifyingly un-intuitive, whatever it is. Synozeer has removed it.
