Some of you may think say that all MUDs are based on some kind of teamwork, and I agree. Though I want a MUD where teamwork is a strong point. Maybe you get to choose a faction, guild, clan, etc. Most MUDs seem to have such elements, but it doesn't seem to be the main focus of the game. I've seen plenty of games with Cabals which go around killing each other, but they don't really shape the game world in any ways.
Also, Roleplay is a requirement! |

Lusternia's close-knit guilds and large quests are all quite team-oriented.
Daedal Macabre also has a very nice system of clans, although most of the teamwork there is in the form of player vs. player. AvP: Legends has excellent team based combat, if you're into a pure PK mud. The admin there hasn't been too active lately, though, and there often aren't any players on. Sometimes you'll log in and find 12 of 'em, so it's hard to tell. I wrote a big ad for it one in the Advertising for Players forum, you might want to look for it. EDIT: Yeah, here's my AvP ad: It has a lot of good combat logs in it. I would start playing again, but my 60 or so aliases got deleted. |
