The Aethersong Project ( ) is looking for an innovative, adventurous, and open-minded programmer in the Austin, TX area who would be interested in collaborating on an experimental text-based RPG. The current development team is a small group of adventrous (and rebellious) creative types. Candidate must be friendly, honest and willing to sign an NDA. Ideally, programmer will have a background in C++, C# and/or LPC / DGD type MUDs.
Aethersong is an ongoing non-profit project representing several core research and development initiatives focused on the creation of a massively multi-player interactive fiction role-playing game based on an original fictional fantasy settting. Supporting projects include the development of several innovative software applications and game engine systems with a focus on modeling perceptual reality within a text-dominant user interface.
